ENplus® A1 wood pellets

ENplus®A1 is the highest quality standard in Europe and is audited by the European Pellet Council. This standard ensures parameters that are essential for the operation of a biomass boiler, including ash percentage, moisture content, mechanical durability, energy content and ash melting point.

Wood pellets are produced by compressing wood/wood offcuts, which are first crushed in a hammer mill to produce a uniform mass. This mass is fed into a press, where it is extruded through a mould with holes of the required size (usually 6 mm in diameter, sometimes 8 mm or more). The high pressure of the press causes the temperature of the wood to rise dramatically, and the lignin is slightly stratified, forming a natural adhesive binder that strengthens as it cools and holds the shape of the pellets.

The 15 kg bags can be easily handled and poured into a pellet stove/boiler, fuel storage.
